The Father’s House is pastored by Jesudian Silvester, an engineer turned preacher. Captured by the Father’s Love at a very young age, he committed himself for the cause of the Cross. God is graciously using him to impact many young lives. Jesudian is married to Lovina and lives in Chennai carrying out the God given vision.The Father’s House is blessed with a passionate and committed group of believers from different walks of life, who stand with the pastor in fulfilling the God given vision.

What we Believe

About God

God is the creator i.e the uncaused first cause for the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. These thre e are one in Purpose, nature and intent.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the eternal word who became flesh. He is co-equal with the Father. He’s 100% God and 100% man. He was born of a virgin which excluded Him from ‘inherited sin’ which every other human being has. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian as the processed Triune God from the moment of salvation. He becomes the life of every believer. He translates every thing of the Father to us in an experiential way.

About Man

Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. He’s is the target of God’s crazy Love. He was created to ‘rule’ or ‘have dominion’ over the earth. . He is created with free will in which even God Himself would not interfere. Man chose to disobey God and became a slave of "sin." This sin separates man from God.

About The Bible

The Bible is God’s word to all men. It was written by human authors, under divine inspiration. The word of God is the basis for all Christian doctrine. It’s helpful for reproof and correction.

About Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence. And man goes there by his own choice.

About Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to man received only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. Any amount of man’s ‘Good works’ can never earn God’s Salvation. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

About Eternal Security

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.

About The Gifts

Every believer has the privilege of operating in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. It’s for the edification of the body of Christ.

About Baptism

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism saves you from the world. It is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.
